ELC Lighting introduces the next step in RDM addressing with dmXLAN QR
May 2021Addressing RDM lighting fixtures is now as simple as: fixture number – scan – done!
Up till now, addressing fixtures has always been a time-consuming task, done by either looking up DMX addresses and manually entering them into a device or using RDM to identify each single device and set its address.
ELC Lighting has now developed RDM-QR. Using the dmXLAN QR mobile app (available for iOS and Android), addressing a fixture is as easy as entering the fixture number and scanning the RDM-QR. The ELC node system and the dmXLAN application then take care of the rest.
The system can be used in pre-production as well as an online scenario with all fixtures connected
