A new version of the dmXLAN software is released, version 3.3. This release also includes new firmware for the node8/node6/node3 and node1s. New features are: New FlexPatch added as output mode This mode is like softpatch, but the ltp-merge option is replaced by a selectable function. The selectable function is set for the complete output and can be: - LTP-merge (same as before) - Maximum (lowest value merge) - DMX control (select the DMX channel and universe to control the merge type in realtime) 0% - 40% -> Primary 40%-60% -> HTP merge 60%-100% -> Secondary so with a DMX channel you can for example switch the output between a console and a media server. Resend DMX output The DMX values that are sent on an output can also be sent back in the network as a new DMX universe. With this you can then merge this universe again with a different one, to create larger mergings. For example if you need to create a merge of 3 universes, you first make a merge of 2 universes. Send this new data into the network and then merge this again with the third universe. DMX hold selectable The DMX output hold function is now programmable between allways or with a timeout up to 1 hour. Fixture Groups From the Select menu or shortcut keys, you can now create and recall groups. - CTRL-G -> recalls a group - CTRL-SHIFT-G -> stores a group Marking of fixtures/nodes and universes Items on the planview can be marked during a show, so that it can remind you to check these units. |
